Letter from the Editor

Dear Reader,

Welcome to Issue Forty of The Collagist: In this issue, we have new fiction from Chad Simpson, Sarah Marshall, Chloé Cooper Jones, plus a story by Ryan Call accompanied by illustrations by Christy Call. We also have excerpts from three new novels: The Alligators of Abraham by Robert Kloss, Last Call in the City of Bridges by Salvatore Pane, and Book of Knut: A novel by Knut Knudson by Halvor Aakhus.

In poetry, we have new work by Elisa Gabbert, Karen An-hwei Lee, Justin Boening, and Michael Bazzert. In non-fiction, we have new essays by Jess Stoner and Brian Henry.
