Letter from the Editor

Dear Reader,

Welcome to Issue Forty-Three of The Collagist: In this issue, we have fiction from Iris Moulton and Sam Martone, plus returning contributor Robert Lopez, as well as William Emery, whose story "The Wife's Lament" is his first fiction publication. We also have an excerpt from Jen Michalski's new book, Could You Be With Her Now, out now from Dzanc.

In poetry, we have new work by Amorak Huey, Joseph Chapman, B.L. Gentry, and Rachelle Cruz. In non-fiction, we have a selection from Nicholas Grider's Tiny Gradations of Loss.

In book reviews, we have coverage of Mother and Child by Carole Maso (reviewed by Kathryn Houghton), Inscriptions for Headstones by Matthew Vollmer (reviewed by Chris Vola), Embodied by Keith Nathan Brown (reviewed by Joe Milazzo), and Collapsible Horizon by Tantra Bensko (reviewed by Yuriy Tarnawsky).

As always, thanks to all of the above contributors for being a part of this issue, and thanks to you and all the rest of our readers for visiting us this month.

Sincerely,
Matt Bell
