Letter from the Editors

Dear Readers,

Welcome to Issue Sixty-Eight of The Collagist!

This month’s fiction comes from 2014 Collagist Chapbook Contest winner Angela Woodward, from E.C. Belli, Gregg Williard, and Diana George. (And speaking of the Chapbook Contest, we’ll announce details of the 2015 contest in next month’s issue, so start getting your manuscripts ready.) We also have an excerpt from Hospice by Gregory Howard, and an essay from Magdalena Was. Our poetry section has new work from Laura Maher, Rajiv Mohabir, Shenandoah Sowash and Michelle Peñaloza.

In book reviews, we have coverage of Binary Star by Sarah Gerard (reviewed by Veronica Popp), Twenty-Something by Tatiana Ryckman (reviewed by John David Harding), How a Mother Weaned Her Girl from Fairy Tales by Kate Bernheimer (reviewed by Michael Jacoby), and Crepuscule W/ Nellie by Joe Milazzo (reviewed by Michelle Newby).

Thanks for stopping by and checking out the new issue. Every month we thank our contributors and readers—and this month is no exception—but still it deserves to be said: We could not do this without all of you. Thanks.

Sincerely,
Gabriel Blackwell and Matthew Olzmann
